Sharing Tracks
Share bug reports via link — anyone can view without creating an account.
Overview
Every track in VibeCheck gets a unique shareable URL. Anyone with the link can view the full bug report — video, screenshots, console logs, network requests, and user actions. No account required to view.
Getting the share link
After saving a recording or screenshot:
- The share link appears automatically in the popup
- Click Copy link to copy it to your clipboard
- Paste it anywhere — Slack, email, issue trackers, documentation
You can also find the link on the VibeCheck platform by opening any track.
What viewers see
When someone opens a VibeCheck track link, they see:
- Video player — for screen recordings (with playback controls)
- Screenshot viewer — for annotated screenshots
- Console tab — all captured console logs with filtering
- Network tab — all captured network requests with details
- Actions tab — user action timeline
The viewer is fully interactive — they can filter logs, expand network request details, and navigate the timeline.
Sharing to specific tools
Slack
Paste the track URL in any Slack channel or DM. The link unfurls with a preview showing the track title and type.
Include the track URL in any email. Recipients click through to view the full report.
Issue trackers
Paste the URL in Jira, Linear, Asana, or any issue tracker. For GitHub-specific integration, see GitHub Issues.
Access control
Currently, all tracks are accessible via their unique URL. The URLs use random IDs that are not guessable.
Tips
- Share immediately after capturing — the link is ready as soon as the upload completes
- Add context when sharing — a brief description of the bug alongside the link helps viewers know what to look for
- Pin important tracks on the platform to keep them easily accessible
