  • Google account information (name, email) when you sign in with Google OAuth
  • Profile picture from your Google account

2.2 Bug Report Data

When you create a bug report (Track), we collect:

  • Screen recordings you choose to capture
  • Screenshots you choose to capture and annotate
  • Console logs from browser developer tools
  • Network request/response data (URLs, headers, payloads)
  • User interaction events (clicks, scrolls, keyboard inputs)
  • Page URLs and metadata from recorded sessions

2.3 Technical Data

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Extension version

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the VibeCheck service
  • Store and display your bug reports
  • Enable sharing of bug reports with your team or via links

Bug reports are retained according to your plan:

  • Free plan: 7 days
  • Pro plan: 90 days

You can delete your bug reports at any time. Account data is retained until you delete your account.

  • Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Chrome Extension Permissions

The VibeCheck Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab: To capture screenshots and recordings of the current tab
  • storage: To store extension settings locally
  • tabCapture: To record screen content
  • desktopCapture: To capture the screen for recordings
  • identity: To authenticate with Google OAuth

These permissions are only used for the intended functionality of creating bug reports. We do not collect data when you're not actively recording.

9. Children's Privacy

VibeCheck is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
